Low Risk Food
Vendors are allowed to sell home-prepared lower risk foods at temporary food markets without contacting or receiving approval by the local Health Authority.

High Risk Food
All high risk food requires permits and food safe

Looking to sell Produce?
Selling home grown fruits and veggies is the lifeblood of farmers market and is always welcome! All produce that has been purchased for resale is unfortunately not allowed to be sold at a BC farmers market.

BECOME A VENDOR


VENDOR FEES

Full Time Vendor
Vends at all Saturday Markets (If you are unavailable for a Market you must let the Manager know in advance).
2023 Fee: $250 (Includes $15 Membership fee)

5 Day Part-Time Pass
Attends 5 Saturday Markets of your choice. Dates should be requested in advance to ensure availability.
2023 Fee: $15 Membership Fee (1 time) + $100 for the 5 day part-time pass. It is the vendors responsibility to use all 5 days before the end of the season.

Drop In Vendor
Attends 1 market. Your chosen date must be requested in advance to ensure availability.
2023 Fee:  $15  membership fee (1 time) + $25 to attend 1 Market

Non-profit/Entertainment provider
Does not sell products for profit and provides a community service or form of entertainment.
2023 Fee: $15  membership fee (1 time)
(2 Non-profit vendors are allowed at each market + 1 entertainment provider. Please request your chosen dates in advance to ensure space availability)

NVFM Membership Only 
Join the NVFM and attend our yearly AGM to stay involved in Farmers Market planning. This option is for non-vendors who want to show your support
2023 Fee: $15

Rental Option
A tent, table and 4 cinder blocks to secure your tent are ready for rental! Bring your own table cloth, chair and products and we'll take care of the rest.
2023 Fee: $10
